HOW TO CHOOSE THE TYPE OF ROLLER SHUTTER DOOR TO SUIT YOUR APPLICATION?

well there are a number of factors for you to consider when choosing the style of roller shutter door you may need to suit your application required , for example do you require the door purely for security or do you need to factor in thermal performance also to save on energy costs? if the latter then opting for an RS95 insulated door would be the choice to opt for rather than a traditional 76mm single skin ( non insulated ) door.

if you require the door to be power operated then the usage needs to be addressed , for example on 240v tubular motors are only 20% duty rated so would be only suitable for light usage only ( approx 6 operations per day including cool down periods for the motor ) where as industrial motors are 60% duty rated offering higher usage of around 9-13 operations per hour ( dependant on the size of door and motor requirement)

if no power is available then we have manual operated versions in either handchain operation or if smaller doors as manual -push pull options ( manual push pull version only available in single skin not insulated )
